As the UK was hit by another batch of snow last week, amidst stories of traffic delays and school closures the Insight Data team decided to make the most of it and have a little festive fun before the Christmas holidays.

Frostbite claimed many a finger; noses were left looking like Rudolf’s but it was all worth it for the glorious snowman that was produced.

Job well done everyone!

The G10 Awards took place this month at Wembley Stadium and despite some tricky weather conditions the turnout was very impressive – if only the same could be said for the exhibition.

I think it’s no crime to admit that the show itself didn’t attract as many visitors as hoped, but in terms of networking it was a good opportunity for Insight Data to meet some existing customers, most of which were fellow exhibitors.  And to be fair, the day of the awards did welcome a fair few faces through the doors.

Come the evening, the bus was extremely appreciated and saved a few icicles forming on dresses! Then despite a questionable menu (there’s been reports of a human hand replica being served for the vegetarian option) I thought it was a truly brilliant night.

Jimmy Carr was fantastic, and more than lived up to the hype surrounding his performance. Being able to meet him was definitely a personal highlight (I’d like to think we’re going to start a double act any day now).

It was also great to see so many Insight Data customers being crowned winners, (more updates about this to follow!) so let me take this as an opportunity to say a big, huge, over-the-top well done to all the winners from all of the Insight team.

Lets hope next year brings even more success for you all.
