The ICO enforces and oversees the Data Protection Act, the Freedom of Information Act, the Environmental Information Regulations, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. 

In May 2009 Insight became the first and only database company in the window industry to be awarded membership of the world-class Direct Marketing Association. Only a handful of data companies in the UK are accepted for membership of the DMA, clearly demonstrating the highest level of data quality and database management. 

THE DMA is the organisation responsible for the UK’s Telephone and Fax Preference Service (TPS/FPS) and Insight screens data against the TPS and FPS Registers to ensure compliance with regulations.
